happy independence

So maybe blogging about my time up here was a bad idea...

I definitely am not being very faithful to my poor blog. I have written four or five half blogs, saved them as drafts and then never come back to publish them. One about how cool the interns are that I work with, they are really pushing me and challenging me in ways I never thought. One about my pizza falling through the oven grate and baking/burning on the bottom. One about Corey buying a house and all of the work that goes into that. Another about how I think God is testing me, and the lessons he shows me. But for some reason these trivial blogs have not been finished, and never will.

I watched fireworks on the mall in dc on the 4th, pretty amazing. Some of my friends and I watched them from the roof top of the Smithsonian admin building, it was the best spot ever. We could see the fireworks close up, but didn't have to fight the crowds below. Afterward we walked back because the metro was a nightmare.

I had a great weekend, but work tomorrow...
